Provide efficient coordination, development, facilitation, and organisation of training activities associated with the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine's (ACEM) Emergency Medicine Education and Training (EMET) hub in the North of Tasmania, in an accurate and timely manner, and communicate with a wide spectrum of internal and external customers across a healthcare setting.
The Team:
The LGH ED has secured commonwealth funding through ACEM as an EMET (Emergency Medicine Education and Training) hub giving us the opportunity to take education and training out to our 9 rural regional hospitals. The EMET team comprises a Specialist lead with a Project Support Officer, and then additional specialists and nursing staff to deliver training.
The Role:
EMET PSO will be required to manage the EMET program including :
* Planning of the annual training calendar
* Planning and support for the annual conference
* Arranging specific detail of each workshop with regard to staff, equipment, travel, accommodation, catering and feedback.
* Manage the EMET budget
* Prepare reports for ACEM audit.
* Support other ACEM educational programs such as the associateship programs

Details of appointment:
Fixed term part time, day worker position, working 38 hours per fortnight, commencing 1 August 2026until 28 February 2027.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary:$81,915 to $94,263 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
