Hybrid work environment Max term contract covering parental leave Play an important part shaping the future of our iconic Australian institution About the business/role/team This role is part of the Financial Markets, Business Support Services, Change Delivery Department. Change Delivery is responsible for managing and executing change either planned or unplanned for the Financial Markets group (FMG). FMG is responsible for implementing the Reserve Bank's operations in domestic and foreign exchange markets, monitoring developments in financial markets and coordinating the Bank's relationships with international institutions. We are looking for a Business Analyst who will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will analyse, identify, and document business requirements, facilitate communication between stakeholders, and ultimately improve business processes and outcomes. The role is for a 12 month period. About the role Lead the planning and management of business analysis approaches for projects and BAU initiatives Elicit, analyse, document, and communicate business requirements Conduct ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimisation strategies Translate complex business and technical information for diverse audiences Support pilot and implementation planning, change management, and training material development Perform solution evaluation during procurement, pilot, and post-implementation phases Create models, prototypes, and specifications to support business and technical outcomes Provide input into business cases and seed funding initiatives About you To be successful in this role, you will bring: Demonstrated experience in business process modelling, requirements management, and solution evaluation Proficiency in BPMN and other modelling standards Experience across multiple project methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PMBOK, Prince2) Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical perspectives IIBA CBAP certification or equivalent experience (preferred) A commitment to continuous learning and mentoring within the BA community Be More Working for an organisation that truly makes a difference to the people of Australia, we can offer development and career opportunities in a collaborative environment that supports your growth, wellbeing and promotes flexibility.
