**Maintenance**
**Supervisor** to join their dynamic team in providing effective and efficient maintenance services in their heavy industrial setting. As a Maintenance Supervisor, this diverse role will be focusing on maintaining the operational efficiency of the facilities, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating maintenance operations to maintain the highest standards of efficiency and productivity. Using your leadership and operational skills, you will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations to improve and ensure the site always operates safely.
They are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team at their Tottenham location.
This is a Permanent opportunity.
**Key responsibilities will include**:
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities, including preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, to minimize equipment downtime and maximize production output.
- Monitor equipment performance, identify potential issues, and implement appropriate maintenance strategies to prevent breakdowns and minimize disruptions.
- Conduct regular inspections to assess the condition of machinery, equipment, and facilities, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as production and engineering, to coordinate maintenance activities and prioritize tasks based on operational needs.
- Manage and maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment, ensuring availability and timely procurement as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, reports, and equipment history, using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- This Maintenance Supervisor will maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Develop and update maintenance procedures and manuals, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
- Physically Fit and healthy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
- The initiative, punctuality, and reliability and have a keen eye for detail.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Trade qualification as either a fitter or fitter & turner with knowledge in hydraulics is essential for this Maintenance Supervisor
- A forklift & scissor license would be required.
- As a Maintenance Supervisor you should have proven experience in a supervisory role, ideally within heavy industrial maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, with expertise in fault finding and repairs.
- Sound understanding of health and safety regulations within an industrial environment.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and coach team members effectively.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient working knowledge of computer systems and maintenance software.
