Programmed is currently seeking a Trade Assistant to join our onsite team in Kwinana. Successful applicants should have a strong work ethic and demonstrated commitment to safety. The role will involve but is not limited to the following duties:
* Forklift operation.
* Promote and consistently follow the standards and procedures designed to enable you to work safely and effectively every day.
* Responsible for the Cleanliness of Process Equipment Area.
* Ensure all safe work systems, procedures and standards are adhered to through frequent monitoring of the processing plant by carrying our routine operating tasks and inspections of the workplace.
* Be involved with the fault finding of fixed plant operations.
* Communicate with Supervisors, Process Plant Controllers, Mechanical and Electrical Technicians.
* Care and basic maintenance of fixed plant equipment.
* Complete field leadership activities and participate in site safety program and culture.
Skills and Experience
* Previous mining and/or refinery experience (Essential)
* Demonstrated commitment to safety
* High Risk Forklift License (LF)
* Gas Testing Ticket (desirable)
* Must have a Positive Attitude and keen to learn
* Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screen
