The Corporate Real Estate Business Partner Manager for ANZ/SEA is part of a wider Global Corporate Real Estate (CRE) organization. The role reports into the Global Business Partner Lead. The Corporate Real Estate Business Partner Manager for ANZ/SEA is responsible for developing and delivering the Corporate Real Estate (CRE) Strategy aligned to business objectives for ANZ and SEA; leading the execution of Corporate Real Estate Strategies for the entities in this geographic area, collaborating with Workplace & Technology; accountable for setting the CRE Strategy to be delivered by the CRE Centre of Excellence (CRE CoE); providing a unified CRE CoE face and execute strategic programs to improve Real Estate performance; acting as a sounding board to senior leadership and provide counsel on Real Estate issues; and may include defining requirements and driving execution of CRE strategy and programs and monitoring effectiveness of existing strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Accountable for Corporate Real Estate strategic solutions for ANZ and SEA
- Develop the CRE Strategy to meet business objectives for ANZ and SEA
- Promote the understanding of the Real Estate Strategy and CRE CoE in ANZ and SEA and coach their business counterparts
- Represent CRE at the business table and manage the relationship between CRE and leading business decision makers
- Support the effective delivery of CRE services within ANZ and SEA - monitor effectiveness of existing services
- Collaborate with colleagues in Transaction, Capital Projects and Analytics to ensure appropriate Real Estate Solutions are identified, procured, designed, and built to enable the business to deliver on the business strategy
- Collaborate with other CRE Business Partners to ensure a common approach to engaging with the business
- Foster the acceptance of CRE initiatives and implementations in their organization, drive appropriate journey management
- Participate in a broad range of CRE processes by defining requirements, providing business insights, setting priorities, reviewing solutions, shaping strategies and communicating to business leadership
- Drive change effort to meet the business requirements
- Experience in real estate management at the MU level preferred
- Excellent communication, organization time management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent track record of building relationships with stakeholders
- Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Strong financial acumen and ability to interpret financial data
- Strong ability to function as a Team Player and maintain a good working relationship, yet think and act independently with professionalism, discretion and confidentiality
- Attention to detail and willingness to flex based on business priorities
