The Role
As Chief Executive Officer, you will report directly to the Board and lead Astley Care into its next era of growth and innovation. You will be responsible for the organisation's strategic direction, operational excellence, and financial sustainability. This is a pivotal role for a visionary leader who can inspire teams, drive transformation, and ensure the highest standards of care and compliance in a rapidly evolving sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute strategic and business plans in partnership with the Board.
* Lead cultural and organisational transformation, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing workplace.
* Oversee all financial operations, ensuring robust controls, sustainability, and insightful reporting.
* Strengthen quality and clinical governance, ensuring compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory requirements.
* Build trusted relationships with clients, families, staff, government, and community partners.
* Champion risk management, business continuity, and emergency response planning.
* Act as the organisation's spokesperson, enhancing reputation through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
What We Are Looking For
* Proven senior executive experience in aged care, health, or community services.
* Demonstrated success in leading organisational change and building collaborative, supportive cultures.
* Deep knowledge of aged care standards, legislation, and funding models (e.g., Support at Home Program).
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Health Administration, or Commerce; an MBA or an advanced degree is highly regarded.
* High-level problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
* Commitment to continuous improvement and compassionate service delivery.
