As a Liability Underwriter you can make a huge impact for our customers. If you love detail, are a team player and are able to think outside of the box, this role could be for you. This is a permanent full-time role and can be based at any of IAG's locations.
What You'll Do
- Take charge of managing a portfolio of broker relationships to ensure excellent outcomes that support renewal retention and initiatives for securing new business.
- You'll provide commercially sound, profitable underwriting solutions in line with your delegated authority level.
- Build strong relationships with brokers in your portfolio, working closely with our team to develop and grow a profitable business.
What You'll Bring
- Previous liability experience either as an Underwriter or Broker is essential.
- A passion for underwriting liability risks and product innovation.
- Excellent relationship-building skills.
- Thrive on achieving results and work effectively as part of a team.
- A good understanding of sales along with an understanding of the culture associated with broker negotiations.
