About the Role
As our Commercial Manager, you will lead the execution of Motio's commercial engagement and acquisition strategy, managing and developing relationships with hospitality and sports & leisure venue partners.
You'll be the go-to person for our partners—providing exceptional service, building trust, and ensuring their experience with Motio is second to none.
This role combines relationship management, business development, and strategic execution.
You'll work closely with the COO and Commercial team, travel interstate to meet partners, and play a key role in expanding our best-in-class DOOH display network.
Key Objectives of the Role
Be the primary point of contact for existing commercial partners, ensuring strong, long-term relationships.
Execute the Commercial Engagement Strategy, including communication and marketing initiatives.
Drive new partner acquisition in line with performance KPIs, including presentations and negotiations.
Manage renewals and negotiate agreements to deliver optimal commercial outcomes.
Provide reporting and insights on acquisition and relationship health to management.
Understand partner needs and Motio's products, become a subject matter expert and influence product development.
Support product launches and upsell opportunities to existing partners.
This is about making our commercial partners (Cafes, Pubs, Medical Centres and Sport Centres) feel heard, understood and know how important they are to Motio.
What you will need to succeed in the role
Experience in commercial or relationship management within hospitality, route trade, retail, or similar industries (preferred but not essential).
Proven ability in business development and contract negotiation.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work autonomously and exceed performance KPIs.
Tech-savvy; CRM experience is a plus.
Self-starter, adaptable, and excited to work in a growth-focused environment.
Australian driver's license and willingness to travel interstate regularly.
