Civil Designer Role
Take part in the water business of a leading independent advisory, design and engineering consultancy. With a large team of water specialists, this role offers opportunities for autonomy and career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Import & manipulate survey data to create detailed civil drawings/models.
* Produce site layouts, earthworks, stormwater, below ground piping and road designs.
* Export bulk earthwork and material quantities.
* Collaborate with civil engineers to deliver plans for construction.
* Support project teams with documentation, revisions and coordination of drawings/models.
* Establish & maintain design templates and drawing standards.
About You:
Seeking fulfillment through autonomy, career flexibility and purpose. Outstanding communication skills and ability to influence and drive successful project outcomes are essential. Relevant TAFE qualifications or degree in drafting, engineering or design are required.
Requirements:
* Proficient with CAD and Autodesk Civil 3D software.
* Experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Knowledge of safety in design, constructability, operational practices and relevant Australian standards.
* Strong attention to detail and well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.
