Finders Keepers Gold Prospecting established in 2005 is a locally owned business in Kalgoorlie, the heart of the Western Australian Goldfields. We supply small scale gold prospecting equipment to a large customer base both locally and online. We strive to provide our customers with an exceptional service and the latest products to increase their gold finding ability.
Qualifications & experience
Retail and or customer service experience an advantage
Confident use of computers and an understanding of point of sales systems an advantage
Genuine interest in gold prospecting or a willingness to learn and understand the technology and products to be able to properly service our customer needs.
Must be a "people person" and able to deal with a variety of personalities.
An ability and want to learn new technology as it is released and the ability to pass on this knowledge.
Must be a Kalgoorlie Boulder Resident or be prepared to to move here.
Current Police Check (National Police Certificate) required for employment.
Tasks & responsibilities
Sales and customer service ensuring high standards in store and online.
Promote our products and the prospecting lifestyle.
Carry out daily routine of keeping the shop clean and restocked
Assisting with phone and online enquiries
Looking after our detector hire range(cleaning and maintenance)
20hrs- 35hrs depending on the time of the year as it is seasonal
Working Saturday mornings is part of the job
Up-skill and gain experience working in a small down to earth team in a unique and well-established store.
On the job training and ongoing support provided by local owner.
