Red Appointments are seeking a Fire Engineer/Compliance Officer for a full time and permanent opportunity based in Darwin commencing in February ****.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY
Manage auditing, compliance, and the overall smooth operation for fire safety across a range of sites based primarily in metropolitan Darwin, with additional locations across Northern Territory.
Regular travel is required, and a company vehicle is included as part of the package.
What you'll do
Manage fire and life safety systems across multiple sitesEnsure compliance with legislation and national standardsConduct risk assessments and fire safety surveysDevelop policies, procedures, and deliver trainingRespond to emergencies and provide expert support
What we're looking for
Degree in Fire Engineering or Fire Protection Engineering or related field, and Professional accreditationExperience in fire safety (Defence or high-security preferred)Experience in conducting fire safety surveys and related risk assessmentsAbility to obtain Defence Security Clearance
