About the Position: The Truck Driver is a critical full-time role at Top Line Produce Pty Limited, responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of fresh produce and goods to customers and markets.
This position ensures the timely movement of our high-quality crops while maintaining product integrity throughout the supply chain. You will operate heavy vehicles as an essential part of our operations, upholding the highest standards of road safety, compliance, and vehicle care in our agricultural business. Key Responsibilities:
Drive and operate heavy vehicles to transport goods, produce and materials safely to designated locations. Load and unload cargo manually or using equipment, ensuring correct handling and securing of loads. Plan delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely transportation of goods.
Conduct pre-start and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety. Monitor vehicle performance and report any faults, damages, or maintenance requirements. Ensure compliance with road transport laws, fatigue management, and mass/load limits.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logbooks, and records of trips and fuel usage. Secure loads using appropriate restraints to prevent movement or damage during transit. Follow workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures and safe driving practices.
Communicate with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers regarding delivery status. Requirements: Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
Certificate II or III. 1–2 years experience. Demonstrated technical skills in the safe operation of heavy vehicles, load securing, route planning, vehicle inspections and basic maintenance; strong interpersonal skills including effective communication, teamwork, reliability, and a commitment to workplace safety.
