Civil Estimator – Brisbane
We are a well-established Brisbane based civil construction company with a solid reputation across South East Queensland and surrounds. We are seeking an experienced Civil Estimator to join our in house team.

About the Role
Reporting to the general manager and director, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders across a range of civil construction projects.
Key duties include:
• Preparing cost estimates and tenders for civil construction projects
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and scopes of work
• Completing quantity take-offs and pricing
• Identifying project risks, opportunities
• Assisting with tender submissions and negotiations
• Maintaining estimating records
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Previous experience as aCivil Estimator in the Australian civil construction industry
• Strong knowledge of civil works including earthworks, storm water/drainage
• Ability to read and interpret civil construction drawings, plans and specifications
• High attention to detail
• Excellent organisational and communication skills both internally and externally
• Experience using Estimate One and Microsoft Office package
• Experience creating professional documents
• Relevant civil construction or engineering qualification (preferred)
• Must be able to work autonomously
• Experience estimating project value up to 2-5M
• Must have 5+ years civil estimating experience
• Australian permanent residents or citizens only
