The Opportunity We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Allied Health Team at Figtree Private Hospital.
This role will see you supporting our rehabilitation inpatients and those awaiting discharge into Transitional Aged Care Programs.
You will be responsible for conducting assessments and providing therapy whilst developing appropriate discharge plans within a multidisciplinary team.
This opportunity will see you working alongside a supportive team of professionals, passionate about providing the best quality care for our patients.
Reporting to the Allied Health Manager, you will be part of a team providing quality patient care delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.
Skills and Experience We seek highly motivated individuals passionate about customer focused care and who thrive working within a Multidisciplinary Team.
You will have well developed clinical and communication skills with the ability to work within a fast-paced environment.The successful candidate will also demonstrate the following:Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRAMinimum one (1) year of Occupational Therapy experience in a hospital settingAbility to effectively assess, plan and implement individualised Occupational Therapy treatment programsDemonstrated ability to efficiently manage caseload demandsDemonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as requiredCommitment to professional development and maintenance of current evidence-based practice What's in it for you?
