Position Overview
This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space. As Director of Product, Payroll you will lead a team of Group Product Managers and product managers, driving strategy for our global payroll product. You'll raise the bar for our vision and product management discipline by fostering a team of kind, talented individuals doing the most impactful work of their careers.

What You Bring
* Hands‑on experience working in payroll as a product manager.
* Extensive experience in product management, ideally at high‑growth companies.
* Demonstrable experience leading teams of high‑performing product managers.
* Great judgment for both strategic (what to prioritize) and tactical (feature scope) decisions.
* Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, including senior leadership.
* A strong sense of design and UX.
* A passion for products that just work, even if the problems they solve are complicated.
* Fluent written and spoken English.
Practicals
* You'll report to: VP of Product.
* Direct reports: 2 Group Product Managers and 12 Product Managers.
* Location: Welcomes applicants globally; preference for EMEA applying to diversify the team.
* Start date: As soon as possible.
