Senior Pharmacist – Make a Difference in Palliative Care
Deliver expert palliative care pharmacy services across various community and hospital locations while leading clinical excellence, education and service improvement. This role is temporary full time for 12 months.

Responsibilities
* Deliver specialist palliative care pharmacy services across community and inpatient settings
* Act as a clinical reference point within the multidisciplinary team
* Support service development, quality improvement and research initiatives
* Provide supervision, education and clinical guidance to pharmacists, students and support staff
About You
You are an experienced, compassionate pharmacist who thrives in complex clinical environments and values collaborative, patient‑centred care. You will bring:
* Advanced clinical expertise in palliative care or the ability to rapidly develop this expertise
* Strong communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams
* Proven ability to manage complex clinical workloads with autonomy and sound judgement
* Experience in leadership, supervision, education or service improvement initiatives

About Us
Palliative Care Service: Metro South Palliative Care Service (MSPCS) provides specialist palliative care utilising the model for population‑based care developed by Palliative Care Australia. MSPCS provides direct care in the Canossa Palliative Care Unit and Wynnum Manly Palliative Care Unit, consultative and/or direct care for patients in all hospitals in the Metro South Hospital and Health Service and provides community‑based specialist palliative care across the district. Community services, including in‑reach consultatory service to Residential Aged Care Facilities, are based at Brisbane South, Redland and Logan & Beaudesert.
