Finance Officer
Overview:
We are seeking a finance professional to join our team as a Finance Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations, providing timely insights to support decision-making, and maintaining and improving Xero and financial processes across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage budgets, grants, payroll, and compliance
* Provide timely insights to support decision-making
* Maintain and improve Xero and financial processes
* Support grant acquittals, audits, and reporting
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in financial operations, including budgets, payroll, BAS, PAYG, super, and reporting. They will also possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interpret financial data clearly.
Preferred Qualifications:
* CPA/CA qualification or progress toward it
* Experience with grant funding, acquittals, or NFP audit processes
* Skills in data analysis or financial process improvement
