Overview
Car Care Automotive (SA) Pty Ltd, located in Ridgehaven, SA 5097, is seeking a qualified and dedicated motor mechanic to join our team. With a focus on customer satisfaction, we service a wide range of vehicles, including passenger cars, 4WDs, and light commercial vehicles.
As part of our team, you will be responsible for a variety of mechanical tasks, including diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
* Identifying and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in engines and associated parts.
* Disassembling, inspecting, and repairing vehicle components, including engines, transmissions, and steering systems.
* Replacing worn or faulty parts, reassembling engines, and testing repaired systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
* Performing routine maintenance such as oil changes, engine tune-ups, and compliance checks with pollution regulations.
* Issuing roadworthiness certificates after detailed vehicle inspections.
* Providing breakdown support and responding to service calls.
* Utilizing diagnostic tools and computer systems to identify and rectify issues.
Qualifications
* Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
* Minimum of one year of relevant experience in a similar role.
* A valid Australian driver's license.
* Strong diagnostic skills and experience using modern diagnostic equipment.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A commitment to delivering quality work and customer service.
