About This Opportunity
As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our theatres. In this part-time position, you will coordinate theatre flow and resources to guarantee safe, efficient after-hours operations and an exceptional experience for patients, clinicians, and caregivers.
* Coordinate evening theatre lists, room allocations, and turnaround to meet clinical priorities and drive productivity.
* Lead and support perioperative teams; promote a calm, solutions-focused approach to achieve success.
* Effectively manage staffing allocations and skill mix; provide real-time problem-solving and guidance.
* Partner with Surgeons, Anaesthetists, NUMs, and the After-Hours Manager to optimize throughput and patient safety, resulting in improved outcomes.
* Monitor clinical standards, patient flow, and documentation; ensure timely handovers and minimize delays.
* Liaise with Sterilising Services, Recovery, and Ward areas to maintain continuity of care and ensure seamless transitions.
* Contribute to quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives, driving positive change and excellence in our organization.
