About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and organised Disability Customer Support Officer to support participants, staff, and stakeholders across our disability services.
This is a casual role with strong progression opportunities, with the potential to transition into a permanent part-time position after 6 months (subject to performance and business growth).
You will play a key role in ensuring smooth service delivery, maintaining strong relationships, and supporting participants in achieving their NDIS goals.

Key Responsibilities
1. Stakeholder Communication & Meetings
Act as a key contact for participants, families, and external providers, ensuring clear and professional communication.
2. Service Inquiries & Issue Resolution
Respond to inquiries promptly, resolve concerns, and maintain high participant satisfaction.
3. Technology & High-Volume Support
Use systems to manage inquiries, document interactions, and track outcomes.
4. Administrative & Data Management
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with NDIS and organisational requirements.
5. Staff & Participant Onboarding
Support and assist in onboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions for new staff and participants.
6. Rostering & Scheduling Support
Assist with roster adjustments and coordinate participant appointments.
7. Participant Follow-Ups & Check-Ins
Conduct regular check-ins to ensure services align with participant goals and needs.
8. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Work with management to improve service delivery and participant outcomes.
9. Appointment Coordination
Manage bookings and liaise with stakeholders regarding changes.
10. Participant Engagement & Goal Progression
Support participants in progressing toward their NDIS goals.
About You
* Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
* Highly organised with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Passion for working in the disability and community services sector
* Confident using technology and customer service systems
* Ability to problem-solve and manage stakeholder expectations
Highly Desirable:
* Knowledge of the NDIS framework
* Previous experience in customer support roles within the disability support services sector
Preferred Qualification:
* Degree in Social Work, Community Services, or a related field
