As an Installer, you will be instrumental in the on-site construction and de-construction of our projects, ensuring the quality installation, operation, and service of our products. You will oversee all installation jobs, manage project timelines, and collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and other operational departments. Your expertise in exhibition stand construction, ability to read construction drawings, and understanding of rigging and site services will be critical to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:


Productivity and Efficiency

* Ensure quality installation, operation, and service of products.
* Provide innovative solutions to problems.
* Review production drawings, identify and rectify mistakes.
* Deliver projects on time and communicate setbacks/issues to the Operations Manager and Project Manager.
* Check all aspects of packed stand elements to ensure all components necessary for the build are present, including frames, fittings, furniture, flooring, and infills.
* Identify the most cost-effective way of building structures.
* Perform post-installation inspections, take photos of products, and follow up on project completeness.
* Report problems, safety issues, close calls, successes, and completion statuses.
* Provide on-site supervision and hands-on assistance as needed.


Operations Support

* Support operations with relevant duties.
* Inform operations of any installation or crew member issues.


Collaboration

* Schedule installation and service of products with project managers and designers.
* Attend pre-construction meetings prior to installation.
* Liaise with other operational and service departments, ensuring adherence to safe work systems.
* Review design concepts and provide feedback on construction and potential issues before client submission.
* Manage deliveries and collections, notifying relevant parties.
* Communicate trouble reports, warranty issues, and back charges to project managers and billing department.


Inventory Management

* Maintain and store inventory properly in designated areas.


Admin Duties

* Complete administrative tasks such as timesheets and checklists.


Key Skills:

* Experience in exhibition stand construction or similar (preferred).
* Understanding of exhibition fabrication and installation processes.
* Own tools.
* Forklift license (preferred).
* EWP license (preferred).
* Knowledge of exhibition floorplans and show manuals.
* Ability to read construction drawings.
* Understanding of rigging and site services.
* Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
