About The Role
We're seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer capable of technical depth and project management to join our team in QLD. The role can be based in Brisbane, Cairns, Townsville, Sunshine Coast, or Gold Coast.
Key Accountabilities
* Deliver geotechnical analysis, design, and site investigation tasks in line with relevant standards and client requirements.
* Plan and conduct engineering projects of reasonable complexity.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure quality, coordination, and timely delivery.
* Prepare technical reports, specifications, and proposals for small to medium-sized projects.
* Manage project scope, risks, and priorities across multiple assignments.
* Contribute to the commercial success of projects and team performance.
* Apply sound project management principles to achieve deliverables on time and to standard.
* Support and provide guidance to junior engineers where required.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships.
About You
* Degree in Engineering (Civil or Geotechnical preferred).
* Minimum five years experience in geotechnical design and site investigations.
* Strong understanding of relevant Australian Standards and geotechnical practices.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
* Experience preparing technical documentation and reports.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Client‐focused mindset with ability to manage expectations.
* Proficiency in relevant engineering software and general computer applications.
