We are looking for experienced and qualified Cabinet Makers to work with a bespoke Premium cabinetry & joinery company based in ther South East suburbs. This will start as a casual with the goal to go permanent eventually.The role is factory based.
Skills,experience and qualifications:
As a successful applicant you will have the following experience and attributes:
* Ability to interpret architectural plans and internal shop drawings.
* Capable of working with limited supervision and able to exercise initiative and judgement.
* Ability to work within a team environment.
* Sound knowledge of the use of hand tools, plant and equipment associated with manufacturing custom joinery and joinery components.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to work within specified time frames as per job schedules, meeting all deadlines.
* The ability to be resourceful with materials.
* Eye for detail, accuracy and precision.
* Be proactive and timely with communication between all stakeholders
Roles and responsibilties include:
* Analyse and interpret architectural and internal shop drawings.
* Manufacture items in accordance to documentation provided using various hand tools and equipment.
* Compile cutting lists and advise on order quantities.
* Ensure manufacturing time is spent efficiently with respect to job material and hardware usage and allocated time frames.
* Liaise with Production Manager to ensure the accurate manufacturing of joinery.
* Advise Production Manager of any changes that may adversely affect the operation, material and hardware usage or site specific requirements of manufactured joinery.
* Quality control of all manufactured items out of the factory.
* Ensure all tasks are 100% complete prior to dispatch.
* Assist in preparing installation documentation for site.
