Offer description

Build Structure. Lead Operations. Drive Execution.

We are a rapidly growing, technology-enabled specialty pharmacy servicing patients across Australia.

We work closely with healthcare providers to deliver exceptional patient outcomes while continually improving how our services are delivered.

This is not a retail heavy or ordinary community pharmacy opportunity.

Growth creates opportunity but it also creates complexity.

We're looking for an experienced and commercially minded Pharmacist Manager who is comfortable stepping into a fast-moving environment, bringing order to complexity, and building the systems, processes and accountability required to support the next stage of growth.

We are looking for a professional manager with a proven track record of leadership and operational delivery.

This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys creating structure, solving problems, improving communication, and ensuring teams are aligned and accountable. You will play a critical role in connecting people, processes and projects to ensure the pharmacy continues to scale successfully.

The Role

As Pharmacist Manager, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy while ensuring the highest standards of operational excellence, compliance and team performance.

You will work closely with the leadership team to improve workflows, develop staff capability, strengthen accountability, and ensure the business continues to scale efficiently.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building high-performing teams, improving systems, and creating structure in a growing business.

Success in this role will be measured by your ability to lead people, improve processes, deliver exceptional patient experiences and achieve operational and business objectives.

This is not a role for someone looking to simply maintain the status quo. We are seeking a leader who enjoys solving problems, implementing improvements, developing people and driving measurable outcomes.

Ensure a consistently high standard of patient service and communication.

Project Management & Business Improvement

Plan, coordinate and implement new business initiatives and projects.

Work with leadership to assess opportunities for growth and improvement.

Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Develop scalable processes and systems to support future growth.

Drive adoption of new technologies, workflows and operational practices.

Lead, mentor and develop pharmacists, technicians and support staff.

Manage recruitment, onboarding and staff development.

Conduct performance reviews and establish development plans.

Address performance concerns and support team accountability.

Foster a positive, collaborative and high-performance culture.

Compliance & Governance

Ensure pharmacy operations meet all regulatory and professional requirements.

Oversee PBS claiming processes and operational compliance.

Maintain policies, procedures and operational documentation.

Current AHPRA registration as a pharmacist.

Previous experience in pharmacy leadership, operations management or a senior management role.

Demonstrated success leading teams and delivering operational improvements.

You will be expected to demonstrate clear examples of how you have led teams, improved performance, implemented change, and delivered measurable outcomes.

Strong project management and organisational skills.

Experience with recruitment, staff development and performance management.

Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, PBS claiming and compliance requirements.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

High level of professionalism, initiative and accountability.

Australian citizen or permanent resident only.

Why Join Ace Pharmacy Group?

Opportunity to shape the future direction of a growing healthcare business.

Work closely with experienced leaders and be at the forefront of healthcare.
