THE ROLE
Full Time, 2 year Tenure with an ongoing teaching position.
The Director of Learning Enhancement is a senior educational leader responsible for ensuring that all students—regardless of ability, background, or learning need—are known, supported and enabled to thrive. This role champions inclusive and personalised approaches to teaching and learning across Prep to Year 12, ensuring that every student is provided with the appropriate support to achieve their full potential and includes a teaching component of 0.3FTE. The Director leads a team of dedicated professionals and works in close partnership with staff, families, and external specialists to support students\' academic, social, emotional and developmental growth within a values-based school community.
WHAT YOU BRING
A strong commitment to the mission and ethos of the College and passion for education's ability to shape the lives of students across all ages and abilities.
Postgraduate qualifications in Special Education, Inclusive Education, Educational Leadership or related field with current VIT or equivalent registration. Applicants who are in progress to obtain additional qualifications may also be considered.
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills with an ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver impactful, student-centered outcomes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to handle high complexity or sensitive conversations with members of the School community including Executive leadership, Campus Leadership, Teachers and Parents.
A sound understanding of relevant educational leadership, compliance processes (including NCCD) and student data management systems.
Demonstrated experience working in a P -12 educational setting, including leadership of the inclusive and intervention frameworks.
Proven ability to lead and manage teams in a dynamic and values-based educational environment.
