About the Role
This opportunity is suited to an experienced Town Planner or Senior Town Planner looking to manage their own projects while contributing to team development and business growth. The level of responsibility will be tailored to your experience. You will be involved in:
* Preparation, lodgement and management of Development Applications
* Assessment of planning controls and preparation of planning reports and submissions
* Liaison with clients, councils, panels and government authorities
* Attendance at meetings, hearings and site inspections
* Independent project management (for Senior-level candidates)
* Mentoring junior staff and supporting team delivery (Senior-level)
* Contributing to business development and client relationships
About You
* Degree-qualified in Town Planning, Urban Planning or related discipline
* Demonstrated experience in NSW statutory planning
* Sound knowledge of planning legislation and approvals processes
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage projects efficiently and meet deadlines
* Senior candidates will have experience mentoring staff and managing budgets
