The Role:
We are seeking a business leader to join our retail store leadership team at Hype DC Northland. As the Assistant Store Manager, you will be instrumental in executing the brand vision, fostering a high-performance culture, creating memorable customer experiences, and driving operational excellence.
You will collaborate with your Area Manager to promote a people-first culture, maximize sales growth, and advance your leadership career.
Responsibilities include:
* Building a world-class team and creating a vibrant store environment
* Driving sales and meeting financial targets for a multimillion-dollar store
* Implementing brand vision and strategy
* Focusing on customer experience to ensure memorable interactions
* Developing and empowering team members
* Providing coaching, support, and feedback
* Recruiting and onboarding new staff
* Ensuring a seamless omni-channel shopping experience
* Maintaining visual merchandising standards
* Creating a safe and fun environment for customers and staff

* Possesses a team-oriented mindset with excellence in sales, operations, and loss prevention
* Has a passion for delivering memorable customer experiences
* Can motivate and inspire a large team
* Has retail management experience in a fast-paced environment
* Is motivated with a proactive attitude
* Can think strategically to identify opportunities and has a proven sales record
* Experienced in managing rosters and controlling wages
