ResponsibilitiesOversee and prepare tender submissions for plumbing and infrastructure projects.Prepare estimates and proposals for design & construct and construct-only projects, typical values between $100k and $2M.Network with key internal and external stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.Prepare and implement a campaign strategy.Manage and mentor junior team members.Document project aspects for handover.Construct breakdowns of tenders for submission.Manage methodologies, sequencing, scheduling, and risk & opportunity registers.Support internal and external reporting of project progress.Provide technical management and validation of tender designs.Carry out strategic alliance activities.Bid, win, and coordinate projects.Handle multiple projects simultaneously.Deal with client issues.Experience RequiredMinimum 2-3 years of experience in the construction industry.Plumbing experience essential for understanding principles of systems and regulations.Experience delivering projects at greenfield and brownfield sites.Experience in estimation and pre-contracts.SimPRO and Groundplan cloud-based software experience is advantageous.QualificationsAdvantageous: Trade certificate in Plumbing.Construction induction white card.Driver's license.Advanced user of Microsoft Office suites.Advantageous: AutoCAD training.Advantageous: Microsoft Projects.SimPRO.Skills and ExperienceReview tender specifications and drawings to determine material and resource requirements.Compute costs and prepare estimates for tender submission.Consult with clients, vendors, designers and other stakeholders to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.Analyze completed projects to compare estimated costs to actual costs.Interface with stakeholders within SimPro to obtain support and commitment to the cost estimates.Communicate project information to the delivery team.Provide improvement recommendations to cost estimating procedures.Develop innovative material inputs and construction methods to reduce costs.Identify cost trends to assist management in cost reduction and process improvement efforts.Prepare construction methodologies and project schedules for tender submissions.This role presents a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, passionate, and results-driven individual.
