Are you Ready to take your career to the next level? Our client is looking for a dedicated and skilled Rock Tools Technician based in Mount Isa, QLD to join our team. We are currently seeking an experienced Rock ToolsTechnician to join their team in Mount Isa. The role will begin on aMonday-to-Friday schedule and transition to a 7-days-on, 7-days-offroster.
A rock tools technician works between the workshop and the underground Keyresponsibilities:
- Remove all worn and damaged rock tools from the drill sites
- Safely transport drilling consumables such as drill bits and drill steels to various drill rigs underground.
- Ensure smooth and efficient rock drilling operations, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
What you'll need to succeed
- To be successful for this role, you must be residing in Mount Isa QLD
- Manual Driver's License: Essential for transporting materials.
- Medical Clearance: Ability to pass a full functional medical.
- Background Check: Hays police check required.
- Experience: Previous labouring experience is a must
