We are seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians (Industrial Electrician) for a key customer site in Tarneit, Victoria. This permanent full‐time role offers an excellent hourly rate, long‐term career opportunities and the chance to work on a brand‐new, large‐scale automated warehouse from installation through to operational go‐live.
What You'll Do
Provide high‐level technical support, including preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical faults on industry‐leading material‐handling equipment such as automated storage and retrieval systems, conveyors, racking and robotics. Carry out equipment audits, electrical fault finding, drive and SCADA programming, PLC troubleshooting, lubrication and mechanical maintenance, and training of new technicians and operators.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting equipment faults within a maintenance environment.
* Unrestricted Victorian A‐Grade Electrical licence.
* Certificate III – Electrotechnology or above.
* Own reliable transportation and Australian driver licence.
* Commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
* Mechanical and pneumatic systems experience.
* Industrial controls knowledge (PLCs, VFDs, HMIs).
* Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
* Self‐motivated and able to work independently or in a team.
Highly regarded
* PLC experience (training on Siemens S7 & SCADA).
* Microsoft Office/report writing.
* Computerised Maintenance System (MEX).
* Automation experience (conveyors and sortation systems).
