Job Description:
Our multidisciplinary team at In Sync Kids OT is seeking a passionate and experienced Child & Family Psychologist to provide psychological support to children, adolescents, and families in a neuroaffirming and strengths-based manner. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children and adolescents, a strong understanding of neurodivergent (ND) presentations, and confidence in working closely with parents.
Key responsibilities include providing psychological support to children and adolescents, working within a family lens, incorporating parents into therapy, and offering guidance on emotional regulation, connection, and relationship strengthening. The successful candidate will also conduct assessments, develop collaborative treatment plans, and implement evidence-informed therapeutic approaches.
We are looking for a Registered Psychologist with AHPRA registration who has experience or a strong interest in working with children, young people, and their families. Knowledge of attachment-based approaches and the influence of early relationships on development is highly valued. Training in Circle of Security (COS) or a willingness to undertake COS training is desirable.
The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously while contributing meaningfully to a supportive, reflective, and collaborative team. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role.
