Reporting to the State Technical Manager, you will be responsible for directing and managing electronic security projects from initiation to completion. You will focus on aligning projects with business goals, leading teams, maintaining customer relationships, and participating in sales activities.
Responsibilities:
* Take responsibility for creating and managing comprehensive project plans that align with business goals and legislative requirements.
* Define and communicate the roles and responsibilities of project-specific team members.
* Coordinate with the State Manager to ensure projects are sufficiently resourced with competent personnel.
* Prepare and maintain all project-related documentation
* Host pre start meeting with relevant stakeholders, salesperson, lead technician etc for project handover from sales to projects team and to inform team on all project deliverables.
* Host wrap up meeting to ensure all project deliverables are met, defects are cleared, discuss lessons learnt and inform cost compliance.
* Evaluate the feasibility and competitiveness of proposed project equipment, ensuring its fitness for purpose and compliance with project specifications
* Understand the capabilities of each Contractor and provide individual assistance as required
* Visit sites to inspect and confirm installations are completed according to Company standards and agreed Project requirements.
* Communicate Work Orders to Contractors, ensuring there is a clear understanding of the job/task requirements.
* Validate that invoices align with Work Orders in SimPRO, and manage any disputes to resolution prior to forwarding the invoice to Accounts.
* Complete variation quoting for existing projects and customers
To be considered for this role you will need to possess the following:
* A degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
* Minimum 3 years of proven experience in delivering successful security projects (desirable)
* Competent with SimPRO, Microsoft office suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams & Planner
* Solid background and understanding of Trades
