Jobs/Responsibilities
As an Applications Analyst with Orange City Council, you will be responsible for the support and development of best practice business processes through the maintenance and ongoing enhancement of Council's business applications and databases. This includes:
- Implementations, upgrades and integration projects allocated by supervisor/manager, including budget and resource management for projects
- Effective provisioning, installation / configuration, operation, and maintenance of Information Technology enterprise software suites to support business processes.
- Providing high-level support for custom reports using reporting tools such as SQL and PowerBi
- Building meaningful relationships with Council's operational teams as a foundation for business improvement initiatives

Skills/Experience
To be successful in this position you will need:
- IT related Degree qualification and/or significant demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated experience in the support, administration and maintenance of business systems and software
- Demonstrated project management skills
- To be an enthusiastic and vocal champion of IT-led business transformation projects
- To be a strong team player with a drive to build relationships, through communications and collaboration, inside and outside the IT team
- Excellent diagnostic and trouble shooting skills
- Ability to obtain a satisfactory Criminal Records Check
- Previous experience in Civica's Authority software will be highly regarded
