About the role
RICHERS TRANSPORT PTY LTD is seeking a full-time HC Driver to join our team based in Gympie, QLD. As an HC Driver, you will play a vital role in our road transport operations, ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of goods across Queensland.
What you'll be doing
* Operate heavy combination vehicles, in a safe and professional manner
* Load and unload vehicles, ensuring cargo is secured and transported in accordance with regulations
* Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to ensure on-time and reliable service
* Adhere to all relevant road transport regulations, safety protocols, and company policies
What we're looking for
* Hold a valid HC (Heavy Combination) driver's licence
* Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy combination vehicles in a professional road transport environment
* Excellent driving skills and a proven track record of safe driving practices
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately complete necessary paperwork and logs
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues and customers
* A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality service
