About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laundry Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for managing and assisting the Executive Housekeeper in the daily operations of the Laundry/Uniform Department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and assist the Executive Housekeeper in the day-to-day operations of the Laundry/Uniform Department
* Implement personal development programs for the team to enhance their skills and productivity
* Work effectively within a dynamic team environment, exhibiting exceptional interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
* Take a hands-on approach during busy periods within the department, ensuring seamless service delivery
* Assist in creating fortnightly rosters and managing payroll within the department
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management is preferred
* Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Assistant Manager in Laundry/Uniform or similar role
* Strong communication and team management skills are essential
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and general computer skills for administrative tasks are required
* Experience in Laundry operations is desirable
* An unrestricted working Visa for Australia is mandatory
