Aquatic Operations Manager
About the Role:
This Aquatic Operations Manager position at Council is a key leadership role that requires a passionate and experienced leader to oversee operations across four pools. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and leading staff, allocating resources, and delivering aquatic programs.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Supervise and lead operations across four regional pools in Queanbeyan, Bungendore, Braidwood, and Captains Flat.
* Support the operation and programming of Council's swim school for all ages.
* Monitor and enforce safety, maintenance, and cleaning measures across all pools to maintain a safe, welcoming, and fun environment for customers.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
* Has extensive experience in recreation centre management, business, or management.
* Exhibits excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
* Possesses comprehensive knowledge on WH&S processes and policies as well as emergency management protocols.
* Displays proven leadership skills to motivate and supervise a large staff cohort.
* Possesses relevant certifications such as Royal Life Saving Pool Lifeguard Certificate, AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Accreditation, and Advance First Aid Certificate.
