The statewide training program provides broad exposure to general paediatrics and subspecialties within a closely supervised team. Positions are available for first-year trainees beginning their paediatric experience or those seeking paediatric exposure for other training programs, as well as more experienced trainees preparing for college exams. Supervision is provided by consultant paediatricians, and mentorship is available through a large and growing advanced training program within Tasmania. Positions: General Paediatric Registrar Basic Trainee Registrar Salary and Employment Details: Salary: $134,930 per annum, Medical Practitioner Level 5 (Registrar) Salary range is in accordance with the Medical Practitioners Agreement 2022. Period of employment: Fixed-term, full-time day work, working 76 hours per fortnight ( hours protected training time), commencing 3 February 2025 until 2 February 2026. In some cases, a 24-month contract may be negotiated at employment.
