We are seeking a passionate and customer service‐oriented Tour Group Sales Specialist to join our team at Melbourne Airport delivering exceptional customer experiences within a dynamic luxury retail environment.
Reporting to the Tour Group Manager, you will be responsible for meeting and greeting tour group customers in our store.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with customers and thrives in a diverse, fast‐paced, sales‐driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the sales team with translating, transacting sales and explaining the duty‐free procedure to tour group customers
* Promote initiatives to create and grow sales within the PRC (People's Republic of China) market
* Assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with tour group leaders
* Share information with in‐store groups on local Australian products and category promotions
* Develop a strong understanding of products that appeal to tour group customers and their buying preferences
About You
* Ability to communicate fluently (verbal and written) in English and Mandarin
* Previous retail/sales experience in beauty, fragrance, or cosmetics
* Strong product knowledge within the luxury beauty space
* Exceptional customer service skills
* Knowledge of and/or experience with Tour Groups and Tour Companies
* Experience of working in the duty‐free environment or luxury retail
* Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate is required

Details of the Role
* Location: Melbourne Airport
* Part‐time position: 60 hours per fortnight
* 2‐week rotating roster
* Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and public holidays
