People & Culture Administration Officer
– Glenorchy City Council
We are seeking an organized, positive and detail-driven administrator to join our HR team as a proactive Administration Officer. In this role you will provide essential administrative support across a range of HR functions and help strengthen our employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the HR team, including filing, documentation and data entry.
Assist with HR processes such as recruitment, induction, personnel records, and employee enquiries.
Maintain confidentiality and manage competing priorities effectively.
Use HR systems, Microsoft Office and other digital tools to deliver efficient support.
Key Requirements
Experience in administrative support, ideally in an HR or similar environment.
Strong organisational skills, high attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a small, supportive team.
Confidence in using HR or business systems, Microsoft Office and digital tools.
Positive, adaptable and committed to helping others.
Position Details
Part-time, 25 hours per week (flexible). Fixed-term for 12 months.
