Job Description
You will have the opportunity to take on a varied and exciting role delivering vital region-shaping projects as part of our partnership with Koppen's Construction on one of Australia's most beautiful highways. The project involves various civil and slope stabilisation works across multiple brownfield sites where your expertise is needed.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Ensure construction-related aspects of the project meet or exceed required performance targets in relation to time, cost and quality.
* Maintain our contractual schedule/program, including productivity units and extension of time.
* Engagement and management of subcontractors from tender to scope delivery in a way that embodies our vision to be 'the best people to work with'.
* Monitor and report on task productivity, financial outcomes and perform cost control to ensure project targets are optimised.
* Provide daily support, team supervision and feedback to field operations to produce high-quality project outcomes against company set performance criteria.
* Evaluate and implement measures to maintain an exemplary safety culture aligned to the values of 'Safety is My Way'.
What We're Looking For
* A driven and confident individual with relevant tertiary qualifications and similar project experience.
* Strong management and planning abilities with both contractors/suppliers and project compliance.
* High standards in managing safety, quality and environment.
* Experience with civil and/or structural engineering principles across various mid/high value projects.
* Knowledge of slope stabilisation, disaster/flood recovery, pavements and traffic management would be highly desirable.
