Purpose of the Role
This role delivers high-quality fire, rescue, emergency, and disaster management services through a collaborative approach that improves safety outcomes for the community.
* Mandatory Requirements:
o Hold a valid driver's license with a Class C endorsement.
o OBTAIN employer's consent to attend incidents and emergencies (where applicable).
o Reside or work within a reasonable distance of a designated fire station.
o Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
Your Key Responsibilities
1. Respond to emergency incidents as part of a team in a safe and effective manner.
2. Promote community safety and emergency preparedness by participating in education and outreach activities.
3. Maintain proficiency through regular drills and training courses.
4. Meet attendance standards for emergency incidents and training events.
5. Operate specialized equipment in accordance with established protocols.
