Full-time position based in Port Macquarie supporting a fun and supportive working environment.
The Head Squad Coach will oversee the successful delivery of YMCA NSW squad programs in accordance with industry guidelines and will conduct training sessions within the centre. The role involves ongoing coaching staff training and supervision. The successful applicant must be available to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
About The Role
* YMCA Head Coaches play a key role in delivering YMCA aquatic education programs and services. You must maintain thorough knowledge of all aspects of YMCA aquatic programs, educational trends, and industry developments. Responsibilities include:
Delivering safe, effective, and professional sessions; maintaining comprehensive coaching knowledge; being available for all scheduled squads for at least 12 months; managing and leading staff in the squad team; and handling additional WHS, administrative, and planning duties related to the squad program.
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Teacher of Competitive Strokes / Swimming / or Swim Australia Foundation Coach Certificate
* Development Accreditation
* Current CPR and First Aid Certificates
* Working with Children Check
