Daily tasks and responsibilities:
* Cleans and sanitises all machinery within the food prepartion areas of the Warehouse.
* Restocks supplies and ingredients.
* Follows all SOP procedures and sanitiation standards.
* Maintains efficiency and initiative whilst working in a team and/or an unsupervised environment.
* Handles machinery parts in a safe manner.
* Dismantles machinery during end of day clean up.
* Wraps and labels meat/bakery/deli products using wrapping machines.
* Weighs stock and ingredients prior to use.
* Stocks display cases. Rotates items to ensure freshness and quality control
* Operates equipment including but not limited to - meat grinders, meat slicers, rotisserie ovens, sushi rollers, rice makers, bakery ovens, mixers, proofers.
* Works alongside tradespersons (Butchers/Bakers)
* Inspects and reassembles equipment sanitized previous night.
* Sets labeller according to product type and price, prints and applies labels to product.
* Cleans and sanitizes area throughout the day.
* Performs duties to comply with health code, such as sanitation standards and maintaining proper temperatures.
* Performs routine maintenance for machinery, equipment, and implements.
* Provides and ensures prompt and courteous member service.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
* Must be available to work early mornings, late shifts and overnights are possible.
* Rotating roster which will include weekend work and starts from 7am or finishing as late as 10pm.
* Part Time position - minimum 24 hours rostered weekly.
* Weekend and PM loading rates apply
* Capability to lift up to 25kg
* You will be required to conduct a physical manual handling assessment

Qualifications (Costco-specific or industry-specific skills that candidates should possess):
* Education/Training: High school certificate or higher.
* Licenses/Certifications: None.
* Experience: Food safety preferred, manual handling training.
* Knowledge/Skills: Customer service or comparable.
