About the Role
We are seeking an experiencedHSEQ / IMS Managerto lead and enhance our Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, and Integrated Management Systems.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will champion safety culture, ensure compliance with ISO and regulatory requirements, and drive continuous improvement across the business.
Hybrid work flexibility is available.
Key Responsibilities
Integrated Management System (IMS)
Maintain, and improve the IMS (ISO ****, *****, *****)
Conduct internal audits and prepare for external audits
Track KPIs and report system performance to management
Health & Safety
Lead WHS initiatives, hazard identification, and risk assessments
Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective actions
Manage safety inductions, training, and competency systems
Develop SWMS, JSEAs, and emergency response plans
Quality
Manage quality assurance, non-conformances, and corrective actions
Oversee document control and continuous improvement initiatives
Support service delivery improvement and supplier quality audits
Environment
Support environmental objectives and sustainability strategies
Conduct environmental assessments and deliver training
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations
Leadership
Work collaboratively with all departments
Build strong relationships with staff, clients, suppliers, and auditors
Conduct toolbox talks, training sessions, and awareness programs
About You
You're a hands-on leader with strong HSEQ/IMS knowledge and experience in technical, construction, fire safety, mining, or similar industries.
Skills & Capabilities
Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety
Strong leadership and communication
Excellent reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Experience in risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations
High computer literacy (MS Office, IMS/QMS platforms)
Ability to build strong internal and external relationships
