Are you an organised and proactive administrator eager to join a supportive and growing school community?

The Islamic College of Brisbane (ICB) is seeking a casual Administrator to join our casual relief pool to support the efficient day-to‐day operations of our College. This role plays a vital part in ensuring smooth administrative processes, supporting leadership, and delivering high‐quality service to students, parents, and staff.

The successful candidate will contribute to a well‐structured, professional, and student‐focused learning environment aligned with the College's Islamic ethos and values.

This is a casual position based at our Karawatha campus.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide high‐level administrative support, including managing schedules, correspondence, and appointments, reception duties.
* Organise meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, and follow up on action items.
* Maintain accurate records in school management systems, particularly TASS and EDVAL.
* Assist with QCAA processes including uploading and downloading academic results.
* Coordinate logistics for NAPLAN, ICAS, AMC and other competitions and events.
* Draft and edit communications including letters, reports, newsletters, and presentations.
* Support ordering and troubleshooting of digital textbooks.
* Provide reception and student services support when required, including managing late arrivals and early departures in TASS.
* Assist with first aid coverage during lunch periods (as required).
* Collaborate with the broader administration team to ensure seamless school operations.
Selection Criteria
* Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
* Relevant qualifications in administration or a related field.
* Demonstrated experience as a School Administrator (Senior Secondary experience highly regarded).
* Knowledge of school administrative processes and education management systems (TASS highly desirable).
* Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
* High level of attention to detail and confidentiality.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong judgement, initiative, and problem‐solving ability.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Commitment to the Islamic ethos, values, and mission of the College.
