Your Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of adult clients' auditory problems according to established Australian Hearing practice methods and standards
* Provide targeted rehabilitative support, including fitting hearing aids, assistive listening devices, personal amplification devices, accessories, and communication strategies as required
* Collaborate with colleagues to refer clients to other professionals or seek guidance from senior audiologists when necessary
* Participate in providing services at visiting sites and home visits
* Liaise with National Disability Insurance Scheme representatives, allied health agencies, and families/carers to ensure best practices and outcomes for each client
* Engage in marketing and public relations activities within the community as needed
Requirements
* Possession of a tertiary qualification in Audiology
* Active membership with the Audiology Society of Australia
* Strong knowledge of clinical Audiology and procedures in accordance with Australian Audiology standards
* Familiarity with the Hearing Services Program
* Understanding of the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) scheme
* Ability and willingness to travel to other locations for clinical work
