**Archaeological Field Operations Specialist**
The role involves conducting archaeological surveys and data collection in the Western United States. You will be working in diverse terrain, hiking up to 10 miles per day, and performing subsurface testing or artifact identification.
* Conducting pedestrian surveys and collecting archaeological data using GPS, photographs, and site forms
* Performing subsurface testing or identifying artifacts
* Measuring and recording artifacts, preparing high-quality field notes, and working as part of a team
You should have experience in archaeological survey and data collection, preferably with knowledge of the region's cultural and historical context. Familiarity with GPS technology and digital data management systems is also essential.
