Role Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced HSE Manager to oversee our client's operations across the Bunbury and Collie region.
This is a key leadership role responsible for the delivery and continual improvement of all health, safety, and environmental systems across multiple sites.
While primarily based in the South West, the role includes occasional site travel as required (all travel expenses covered). You'll lead a small HSE team and liaise closely with operational leadership to ensure compliance, incident management, training, and cultural uplift across the board.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee implementation and continuous improvement of HSE policies and procedures
Lead and mentor HSE personnel across site and regional operations
Conduct and review risk assessments, incident investigations, and audits
Engage with stakeholders to drive a proactive, safety-first culture
Ensure regulatory compliance and reporting in line with WA legislationDeliver safety-related training, inductions, and toolbox sessions where required
Report HSE performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
Support operational teams in addressing field-level risks and system gaps
Essential Qualifications and Experience
Diploma or higher in WHS, OHS or related discipline
Proven experience in a HSE Manager or Senior HSE Advisor role
Background in mining, construction, or heavy industrial environments
Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proactive mindset
Familiarity with WA safety legislation, audit frameworks, and contractor management systems
Valid driver's licence and ability to pass pre-employment medical / D&A
Based in or willing to relocate to the Bunbury / Collie region (local accommodation / travel flexibility considered)
