Role Overview
The Product Specialist for Unity will be the in-house expert on the Unity software and will drive Unity’s technical development. You will be responsible for optimising and updating Unity’s software in line with product strategy. Your ability to gain an exceptional understanding of the product will allow you to guide existing customers to its use, as well as develop it for the future.
Responsibilities
- Gain a deep understanding of our product architecture, core APIs, and telematics capabilities.
- Build strong working relationships with product managers, developers, and key stakeholders.
- Lead API integration projects with enterprise customers or partners, ensuring timely and technically sound delivery.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to define feature requirements, with a focus on APIs and data interoperability.
- Act as the go-to technical resource for API integrations, supporting customers, partners, and internal engineering teams.
- Lead technical scoping and validation of new integrations, including third-party telematics platforms and fleet management systems.
- Translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly documentation, knowledge base content, and training material.
- Engage with Sales Engineering and Customer Success to support customer onboarding and address technical queries.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be able to gain a deep technical knowledge of the Unity product line to become a highly knowledgeable product expert. They will have very strong experience in SaaS or software development, especially in API development and system integration.
Experience in telematics or IoT-connected devices is highly desirable. You will be a key liaison between the product, engineering, and customer-facing teams, ensuring our platform’s capabilities are clearly understood, seamlessly integrated, and continually evolved to meet customer needs.
