As a Dynamics 365 Finance Lead, you are considered a Finance expert with in-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 F&O. You are energetic and passionate about using Dynamics 365 F&O to solve complex business problems.
You have the capability to lead project engagements and support pre‐sales, providing expert services to complex finance deals and supporting Functional Architects and Enterprise Architects across multiple technologies and offerings. With your solution and industry experience, you will lead the Finance stream and provide functional guidance and direction leveraging your deep knowledge of Dynamics 365.
You are also seen as a technology leader within the Dynamics 365 community, routinely sharing your knowledge on bleeding‐edge topics in community and internal events.
Key Responsibilities
* Evaluating and understanding the business process and preparing a detailed Business Requirement Specification document [BRS].
* Analyzing client requirements and objectives to determine how software can best meet clients' requirements.
* Converting requirements to functional specifications and functional design documents.
* Providing functional consulting, design and development of Dynamics 365 F&O for clients on Finance, Project Accounting and related modules.
* Working closely with clients and other team members to define, design and align the business application to business requirements.
* Handling SIT, End‐User Training, UAT and Go Live activities.
* Conducting data migration activities.
* Managing and delivering small projects independently; leading other consultants to meet client expectations and owning successful completion of deliverables.
* Participating in the development of functional design documentation, technical specifications, unit and system test scripts, deployment plans, and performing SIT testing.
* Facilitating functional sessions and weekly status meetings with clients, driving decisions when necessary.
* Owning project deliverables such as status reports, documentation, and test plans, taking personal responsibility for success.
* Conducting functional testing of modifications and sub‐processes during sprints.
Qualifications
* 10+ years of experience in consulting, configuration and customization of Dynamics 365 F&O.
* 3+ years of experience in pre‐sales.
* Experience working on large complex client projects using multiple implementation methodologies.
* Excellent communication, analysis and documentation skills.
* Positive and can‐do approach.
* Experience working in a collaborative environment.
* Appropriate Microsoft certifications.
* Ability to work independently with guidance while making autonomous decisions related to work processes.
* Australian citizenship is preferred; Australian Permanent Residents will also be considered.
Location & Travel
This role is open to candidates based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne. Candidates must be willing to travel interstate as required to support project and client requirements.
